From a ‘Home Schooling’ Project to a ‘Boys’ Clothing & Lifestyle Brand!
I recently set up a ‘Boys’ Clothing & Life style called ‘Rocketsonic’ during lockdown as part of a ‘Home schooling project with my Twin Sons - Aged 9.
The idea came about during 'Lockdown' when we worked on a personal home-schooling project in the Summer 2020. My sons wanted to know what I (Dad) did for a living & While working from home there was no better way of teaching them the ins and outs of branding & marketing as they were super keen to learn! Firm in the belief that they might as well start young it started as a mini-project and the idea grew from there to what it is now and we have enjoyed working on the brand together ever since.
We were featured in our local newspaper, various publications and our story was even mentioned by Holly Tucker (Founder of NotOnTheHighsStreet) as we described our journey and quoted 'we are the teachers of entrepreneurialism and there is no such thing as a entrepreneurs class at school' which is what we are did!
